Roberta Kolton

Roberta (a.k.a Bobbie Jo or BJ) grew up in the Sarasota area and is committed to elevating the fabric of our city and coastlines. Coming from a real estate family, it was only natural that she followed in her parents' footsteps. Roberta (a.k.a Bobbie Jo or BJ) grew up in the Sarasota area and is committed to elevating the fabric of our city and coastlines. Coming from a real estate family, it was only natural that she followed in her parents' footsteps. Since 2004, she has been helping commercial customers navigate the Sarasota and Manatee County market. For eleven years Roberta worked alongside her father, Bob Kolton, a pillar of Michael Saunders & Company's Commercial Division. She garnered extensive knowledge as she learned the ropes first-hand, gleaning all she could from his 35 years of real estate experience. Though Bob retired in 2015, Roberta carries on the Kolton legacy of specialization in industrial real estate throughout Sarasota and Manatee Counties.

Roberta is a member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors and former board member of the CID - Commercial Investment Division. In 2014, Roberta was voted as CID's Realtor of the Year. In 2002, Roberta graduated from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Photography, and returned to Sarasota to be closer to her family and the community in which she grew up. She spends her spare time working on her photography, traveling with her husband, Gabriel, and running around with her Boston Terriers, Dexter and Bailey.
