Good morning, First of all, this email is well past due. Lisa Sebastian and Debra Pitell-Hauge did a fantastic job assisting me in finding the perfect home in Sarasota. In March, I was on vacation and decided to move to Sarasota on a whim. My sister, who has a condo in the same complex as Lisa, referred me to her. I primarily dealt with Lisa, but I know that Debra was assisting. Lisa took the time to sit down and listen to what I wanted. They printed out at least 30 listings. In addition, they sent me properties via email. They were very attentive to all of my emails, text messages and calls. Their level of communication is phenomenal! Lisa was always available to show me properties and gave great feedback. I was able to find a home and place an offer within 7 days of looking. How fantastic was that! I truly believe I wouldn’t have had the same experience with anyone else. I live in Louisville, KY and had a very opposite experience with a realator here- both with buying and selling a home. Since I had to come back to Louisville, they were there for the home inspection, advised of homeowners insurance agents to use, communicated with the HOA, utilities information, and walked me through all of the steps. There was so much that they did, I’m probably missing something. After the closing they shared a plumber and advised of a security system. This was absolutely the best experience I have had with a realator! One more thing I’d like to mention. I had a massive ear infection during the process and continued illness when I got home. We'd found Jonathan on an internet search when looking for a realtor and contacted him from Canada, 18 months prior to our desired purchase date. Our 'wish list' was taken seriously, as he began to advise us on properties. While not having met us in person, from start to finish, he offered his time, patience and market expertise, educating us on the surrounding Sarasota area, given we weren't familiar with the city. As clients, we were very specific on what we wanted and he helped us greatly in narrowing down the search. Fast forward to when we flew in, having only 1 day to find our dream home. I asked John what he knew and thought about a couple of properties I was looking at. John took the time to thoroughly investigate them then offered excellent advice whether to proceed. I have always enjoyed speaking with John in person and by email. He is my person to go to about real estate in SW Florida.
