We cannot say enough about our good fortune in discovering Joanne. I simply choose her from the website and we clicked right away. She made us feel very comfortable with the entire process. I was very pleased with the service Jim provided as a representative of Michael Saunders. I first started communicating with Jim in late 2016 and 2017. At the time I was interested in homes on the canals in San Remo, having just rented there but I still had commitments in the northeast that prevented me from taking action. Jim expanded my search to include Coral Gables and a few other locations that matched the criteria at the time. He alerted me to opportunities but not excessively, which I greatly appreciated. My requirements were refined and changed and this past winter I was here for 2 months and Jim was instrumental in the successful acceptance of my offer on a condo in Palma Sola Trace. His quick response in setting up the viewing, within an hour, was significant. The price had just dropped which garnered a lot more interest and multiple similar offers. Discussions with Jim regarding a counter offer were key and led to an acceptance of my offer. Jim was helpful in getting the necessary inspections scheduled in a timely manner; providing contacts for various home services and educating me on the acquisition process. My current home was purchased 40 years ago and the seller held the mortgage so this was an unfamiliar process to me. My brother and sister-in-law are now interested in buying and I have referred them to Jim to help them with their search. I think that speaks for itself.

My husband and I had been doing volunteer work in Nicaragua for eight months and had come back to Atlanta to sell our condo and planned to return. Meanwhile, unrest started in Nicaragua and escalated to the point that we knew we couldn’t go back safely. So on June 5th, we were to close on our condo in Atlanta and we would be homeless. We were vacationing on Longboat Key and I started looking at homes in the Sarasota area. My agent in Atlanta reached out to get an agent for us from your company and it was Rick that contacted us, what a double blessing that was. We are not moneyed people but have high-end taste, poor Rick. I sent him some places we had found online and in about three hours we looked at eight, we know quickly if we are interested! The next day we went to see the one we ended up purchasing in Venice. He helped us with the negotiations on the price. He shined particularly bright in helping us to take occupancy before the closing by suggesting that we offer the seller a $10,000 nonrefundable deposit to go into the escrow account that we would forfeit if we backed out. It worked and we spent our first night on June 7th in the house and closed June 28th. The owner didn’t even ask for rent, unbelievable. For Rick, it wasn’t just about making the money. He is smart, witty and takes the time to educate you when you don’t know something. My husband and I are both 71 years old and he treated us like we were related. We thank you for giving us this opportunity to sing his praises.

I was lucky to have Ray Rausa as that scout and guide. Ray was the consummate professional. He knew the market; he knew the housing stock; he knew the details of title searches and inspection services. Above all, he listened carefully to my likes and dislikes. He tailored the searches to meet my needs and my hopes for the perfect home, not just a quick sale. We looked at several areas for homes that would be possible new addresses for me. At all times, Ray was supportive and helpful. And above all patient. He offered suggestions and advise. He pointed out the strengths and weaknesses of various properties. He was a real partner in the process and always was vigilant in representing my interests and welfare. Moving to a new city is fraught with unknown issues and anxieties. Ray made that process more of an adventure, not something to fear. I would recommend Ray to you without reservation. And I encourage you to seek him out!

Bernadette and Linda got the job done. We had our home on the market the previous year without even a nibble. But, from the start of our contract with them, they aggressively pursued a sale for us, and never let up. We were in two realtor caravans. They were at every showing, even when they were stretched by other commitments. The partnership made communication easy and immediate. We can't recommend them more highly.
