We had never heard of Burnt Store Marina (BSM) until we came down to look at some properties we saw on line. Our agent knew very little about BSM and could not answer many of our questions so, to his credit, passed us over to Cynthia's office at which time we met her. She was exactly what we were looking for in an agent. She knew the answers to most of our questions and when she didn't, got the answers for us. She lined up a variety of places for us to see in a very short time and within a day found the one we purchased. Living in Pennsylvania and looking for a home in Florida from long distance can be a daunting experience. By chance we connected with Terri Thacker at Michael Saunders and Company and couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable realtor. Mike and I relayed to Terri what we were looking for in as much as price, size and community. Terri connected with us regularly via phone, sent us daily updates on new listings, and never tried to over sell us. We even had Terri show our local friend homes for us. When we were finally able to come to this area and look for ourselves we scheduled a weekend to look with Terri. That weekend we found the home we wanted, made and offer, offer accepted, and in less than 30 days we had our Florida home. Terri arranged the closing for us and all was handled long distance without a hitch. Cynthia was very knowledgeable and courteous during the entire process, allocated all the time we requested to look at different areas and properties. Professional and friendly at all times. Very helpful in answering questions not related to home purchase but regarding living in SW Florida. I have recommended Cynthia to "EVERYONE" I know who is looking for or considering properties in Florida. I had spoken to numerous agents before deciding Cynthia was the agent for us. Just as important for us is Cynthia being a pet lover considered our Yellow labs needs when showing us properties and areas. I have known of and about him for a relative short time, but found him to be an incredible team player (well anyway for the most part) He is way too knowledgeable about computers and tries to send me stuff that only "geeks" know how to open He has a marvelous presence in the office and always ready to pitch in. We have used Doug Parks for our last several real estate transactions (both buying and selling) and would never consider using anyone else - why would we? On this last transaction, we agreed on a price $60,000 more than a near identical condo adjacent to us on the same floor which had closed just days earlier. We had a contract in 24 hours at more than our asking price. Doug is a true professional who knows people and the market and has the temperament to make every transaction go smoothly and always to a successful conclusion.
