~~My husband and I made the decision to move to Punta Gorda, Florida, less than a year ago. With the help of our Iowa realtor, we developed a strategy for selling our home there. She also researched realtors in the PG area and introduced us to Rick Van Houten of Michael Saunders. And that was the beginning of a very successful collaboration on both ends. I have never worked with a realtor like Rick before. His 30+ years of experience, ability to listen to and guide a buyer, attention to details, and relentless dedication to helping his clients led to nothing short of a miracle for us. Our home in Iowa sold in less than a day and the heat was on to find a home in Florida. We flew to PG and had only a 3-day window to find a home. Rick cleared his calendar, worked with us literally day and night, and before we left we found a great home with a caged pool and had a contract to buy it. There were a few snags in the process, but Rick kept the path smoothed and 2 months later we were packed and on our way to our new home. I can't thank Rick enough for his help. We had a two bedroom villa at Windward Bay, and we wanted to sell it. Bobbie was our realtor, she did a great job, holding open houses (and being there herself), and always showing the villa to possible buyers. Even when she was out of town, she arranged for a fellow realtor to be available for any inquiries. We were very happy with the way Bobbie handled our sale, and we consider her a friend.
