In 2012 my husband and I purchased a condo in Beachplace on Longboat key and enjoyed spending part of our winter vacations in this beautiful spot, often with our family or friends. But as our family grew we found we needed more room so we decided to sell the condo and build a larger home on the mainland in Sarasota. Our real estate agent at the time took us to Esplanade By Siesta Key, we fell in love with this community and built our home there. We decided to sell the condo but two different agents were unsuccessful in finding a buyer for us.One of the first people we had met in Esplanade was Debra Pitell-Hauge and while talking to her discovered that she was very successful at selling condos at Beachplace. We filed that information as we had decided by this point that we would rent the unit while we got ourselves situated in our new home. Debra continued to keep us apprised of the real estate news at Beachplace and sent us listings that she felt were comparable to our unit in the hopes of enticing us to sell. We were having no trouble renting the unit so for the time being left the idea of selling alone. But Debra was persistent and eventually brought us an idea of an offer that we just had to consider. She knew that it was a seller’s market and suggested a price that we could probably get for our unit. My husband and I both thought it was way overpriced but we also felt that Debra knew her stuff and so we agreed to list for 90 days to see what would happen. After only hours of being listed we couldn’t believe it when Debra brought us a full price cash offer with no conditions! We were “gobsmacked” to say the least that Debra had delivered exactly what she had promised and were sorry that we had ever doubted her ability to read the market and find the perfect buyer for our property.Debra was scheduled to go out of town shortly after we signed the agreement but was still able to find agents to check the A/C, locate extra keys for the buyer and coordinate a myriad of other closing details from afar. We couldn’t have asked for a more thorough, detail oriented agent to initiate, proceed through the details and conclude this sale than Debra. She succeeded where others had failed to sell our property and we only wish we had met her sooner! Anita is a very professional in many aspects within the entire real-estate business. She has a vast knowledge in all angles, don’t hesitate or bother for answering any question, going anywhere, respond to text messages or phone calls day or nighttime, has answer to almost everything, provide best advises, and many more things. I am pleased to share my experiences about my recent house sale. When looking for a realtor, I immediately called Leah who lived in the neighborhood and had answered questions I had had in the past. Leah knew Glenn Lakes and was on top of the rapidly changing market. She listed and got my asking price within a few days. Prior to the sale, she made excellent suggestions of improvements I should make to the outside of the property. She also put me in touch with local trades people who could complete the work. She answered all my questions, kept me informed through the whole process, and was very easy to work with. Elisa was great to work with during the sale of my home. She was attentive, thorough, extremely engaged, and a great sounding board. There was nothing I needed which she did not provide. From coordinating showings at the beginning to working with the Closing Agent at the end, she was also very present. I would not hesitate to use her again.
