I have to say that I was very pleased with the purchase and especially Marci McFarland as my realtor. During the process, we were getting push-back from the Seller not wanting to correct a permitting/hot water heater issue that he had created in the condo. Marci was firm and held her ground against the Seller, his son-in-law and their realtor, and refused to let them slide past the issue as they were trying to do. I was so impressed with her knowledge and resolve, and will definitely recommend her.

Our experience in selling our unit at Club Longboat Beach & Tennis has been nothing short of amazing. We called and interviewed people from several companies before deciding to use Marcia Salkin as our agent. (She probably had to think carefully before agreeing to work with us). Whenever she called to say she was bringing someone over we had an “evacuation drill”. Our sales process coincided exactly with the recent financial crisis so we had many questions for her. She was always gracious and kind as we needed a lot of “hand-holding”.Our unit was the only one at CLB to sell at that time so we had many opportunities to tell our friends and neighbors about Marcia and how pleased we were with her and Michael Saunders & Company. The timing itself was nothing short of miraculous!

Our main contact, of course, was with our realtor, Charlie O’Donnell, who was reassuring every step of the way. In addition to several showings, he scheduled two open houses, one of which attracted a record number of visitors. His assistance when we negotiated and prepared for closing was invaluable. We also are grateful for the help provided by the Venice office as we worked through closing procedures long-distance.

We were fortunate enough to meet Marilyn at an open house she was hosting at the Inlets in Nokomis. We made the decision to buy the condominium at the Inlets and Marilyn did an outstanding job in being sensitive to our needs as a buyer while representing the interests of her seller. Marilyn went above and beyond in helping us with every step in the buying process. Once we were well underway in the process of the purchase, Marilyn was wonderful in providing us with a list of home repair specialists that could help us with our remodeling needs. Marilyn was quick to respond to any emails, texts, or calls we made to her. She always made us feel as though all our questions were important and she was thoughtful in her answers. I have told my friends about Marilyn and have recommended her to them if they were to consider buying in the Venice area. John did a great job and has even gone out of his way to help move in some furniture we purchase and couldn’t be there. He has also checked on the house and ran the water and flushed toilets etc. in the time we have not been able to make it down. Super nice guy and very accommodating to us. We are looking forward to many memorable visits to PGI over the coming years with my family.

It is with pleasure that we inform you that our home purchase was handled with extreme expertise and professionalism thanks to Brett Hendrickson. On the morning of our walk-through, there were several issues that did not conform to our contract but Brett handled them in a very satisfying manner and we cannot thank him enough. I want to compliment my agent, Leah Frisosky. I had the privilege of working with her in November. I thought that I wanted to stay on Siesta so she helped me view all that was available at the time. I then changed the plan and decided on Lakewood Ranch. I was in Ohio most of the time and she kept me updated on what was available. I finally settled on Arbor Grande. I finally decided on a house in Arbor Grande which is 2 miles from my family. Leah’s knowledge concerning the purchase price and the closing costs was invaluable to me. She saved me money on the sale price of the house and closing costs.

Debi is very professional, yet she is also able to quickly establish a comfortable rapport that fosters open sharing of thoughts and ideas. We felt she went the extra mile to ensure our search process was a thorough and pleasant experience. One example of what sets Debi apart is that her support didn’t stop with the close of the sale. We closed on our property in early February and then Covid 19 hit. In March, Debi reached out by phone to see how we were doing and to offer her assistance if we needed any help or had any questions as we were new to the area. We were very impressed with Debi’s professionalism, knowledge of the area, thoughtfulness and genuine interest in helping us find the perfect property for us. Doug is a true professional and one of the best agents I have ever dealt with. I own properties in various states and Doug is second to none in taking care of his customers and representing Michael Saunders & Company. I was confident Doug would provide the best advice and follow up during this entire sale. Doug handled our purchase of this condominium in 2018 and the sale in 2020, and both transactions went extremely well.
