I simply cannot say enough positive things about Karen and her willingness to go above and beyond my expectations! As a former real estate agent in North Carolina for 14 years, I appreciate the amount of time, experience and heart involved in finding just the right property for an individual or family. Finding what I needed in a seller's market by mid-October was not an easy task by any means. A chance meeting at a service station led to her first trying to locate, for well over a month, the ideal "needle in a haystack" rental property for me. No commission in that yet she prevailed, calling or emailing me daily with lists of possibilities. A lack of affordable rentals that met my parameters morphed into my eventual purchase, so thank the stars, her countless hours of work and determination were finally rewarded. I'm now enjoying a great handywoman special "just right for my budget" home on an incredible botanical garden type property and have made a friend for life in Karen. My thanks go to her 170 pound St Bernard dog, too. He's what really caught my attention on a nasty cold morning and started a conversation that was pure kismet. PS.....I could have given a shorter review by just saying "I am SOLD" on Karen Sweat. You want it/need it? She can find it.

In my 50 years of buying and selling homes, I have never dealt with a more knowledgeable and professional real estate agent than Karen Sweat. Karen not only knew what was going on in her market, she also knew what was planned that could affect our purchase decision. In the course of one week, she exposed this to all of the communities in the area that fit our criteria; showed us all the homes in our preferred community that met our specifications; and helped us determine a fair offer based on area comps. By the end of the week, we had purchased our dream home. We will be forever grateful for her help and friendship.

Home buying is very frustrating, especially for a first time home buyer. Karen is very knowledgeable and patient. She walked me through everything and let me know what to expect as we viewed and offered several houses. She was able to find me exactly what I was looking for. Karen went above and beyond to make our buying experience as comfortable as possible. She routinely made herself available to facilitate repeated visits to the property, inspections, utility service requirements, etc. In addition, she went out of her way to educate us regarding the benefits of potentially living in the community and the surrounding area. Further, she toured with us as we met neighbors, vendors, service providers and local restaurant owners. She also was very helpful in our interactions with the builder. All in all, we had a very positive experience in dealing with Karen, and would recommend her to one and all!

Karen is amazing! She was there for us from our initial contact to our final closing! She is very knowledgeable and went out of her way to provide us with information about the area, she even mailed us a package which included information about local events. She was quick to set up showings while we were looking for a home and worked around our schedule. She provided guidance with each step in the home buying process which can at times be overwhelming. She was responsive and available every time we contacted her. As busy as she is, she was so attentive to us, she made us feel like we were her only clients. What a wonderful experience to buy a home using Karen as the agent.
