We were very happy with Janet. The photographer that she choose took excellent pictures of our home and included all of our upgrades in the description of our home. We were very happy with the price that she suggested in listing our home. Our home sold in four days, first person that looked at it and we got our asking price. Janet also accompanied us when we looked at the home we wanted to buy. We were building the home and she helped with picking out things and was helpful in final walk thru. You can not go wrong with hiring Janet as your realtor.

Laura Rulon is a seasoned sales professional. We met on the island 2+ years ago at an open house and immediately were drawn to her enthusiasm. Ever since, she's partnered with us to find the perfect location and deal for our beach condo! Since she's so familiar with the area and the market there, Laura is a great negotiator representing our needs to the seller and keeping everyone happy. I saw Michael Saunders R.E. signs everywhere while vacationing in Venice and knew they must be a trusted and reliable company. I chose Margaret because she grew up in Venice and could offer firsthand knowledge of schools, communities and dog parks that would best suit our family. I am recently divorced with a 9 year old son, 10 year old golden retriever and an aging Mother, and we presented a difficult task of finding a property best for all of us. Margaret was attentive to our diverse needs and found us the perfect place to call home. She was available 24/7 to show face time videos of properties, negotiate contracts, and provide support during all phases of a long distance purchase. I am so thankful to Margaret for all her hard work and friendship during a big life decision.

Janis was sending us information regarding properties months before we came to actually came to the Sarasota area and started visiting them. We were able to hit the ground running. Once our offer was accepted, Ron was invaluable helping to wind our way to be sure that the property met the association and county rules. He and Janis helped us line up people to look after the home, pool and grounds, since we initially will be snowbirds, and we weren't familiar with the local vendors. The seller's agent was also a part of the Michael Saunders organization. During the walk through the day before closing, the seller's agent's son helped us put up the hurricane shutters, and stayed until he was sure that we were all set. When my husband Bob and I decided it was time to sell our home, we called Robert. He helped and guided us in first finding the right place to move to. He knew we were not in a position to prepare our home for sale and have showings while living there. I was adamant that I wanted to stay here in Venice, keep my friends and social life at Pelican. Rob found the perfect place for us, and our dog Rusty, at Jacaranda Trace, amenities, cost and size. So, not until we moved and got settled in our new apartment, did Rob ready our home for resale. He took care of everything with minimal interruption in our life, and our home went on the market. Unfortunately, Bob passed away a short time after we moved into our new apartment. I think Bob wanted to know that I’d be alright. Some time thereafter Rob approached me about Alan Adams, a legally blind Veteran and his young family that wanted our home. Bob was a Vet. When I heard his story I just knew that Bob would want them to have our house, that it was meant to be. We agreed on a price, timeline and conditions. Rob told me there would be many challenges to overcome. Rob laid them all out, but, he said if I was patient, he assured me that it would all work out. Well, there were challenges, Rob kept me informed all the way. He even said I could pull out at any time if it was too much, but I wouldn’t have any of it. It took a few months to get it all through, but it was worth it. My home is now sold to a wonderful and appreciative family. Rob handled all of this for both of us, tactfully and with great care and empathy. It all went through just as he said it would. I’m happy and I know Bob is happy, knowing that our effort made a difference. ---- Betty Hackmeister
