The impact of this letter may have diminished with the passing of time, but I would like to express my gratitude toward Jill Thomas. She represented me on the sale of my home in mid-December, and I could not have had a better agent represent me during the time it was marketed. On many occasions I expressed my gratitude for the things she did for me (considering I lived out of state) and she always said "it's what I do." Regardless of that, there are people that just go through the motions in their chosen fields and there are people like Jill that do it without ever conveying any reservations with requests. Every detail from the initial contract signing with her, handling potential buyers and juggling various contractors was handled seamlessly with only minimal inputs from me. When a committed buyer came in she handled it professionally and her experience helped in communicating my concerns with the demands of the buyer. We had our house on the market with another realtor for six months with no offers. Kathy came in, recommended a few small projects and some staging.We did what she said and it immediately generated interest and some offers with contingencies that we chose not to take. We listed in late summer and within 3 months our house was sold. I can't tell you how grateful we are that we found her. We also appreciated Michael Saunders' caravan of realtors taking a look at our home after it was listed and providing advice. That was useful to us. Kathy is a fabulous realtor - she knows the business well and works extremely hard. She knew the people at every open house by their names, their interests and she came to other realtors' showings to market our home. We had never heard of a realtor doing this. Even though we were in Minnesota already, she kept in great contact with us and with our son who was still in our Florida home, providing updates and information without me having to call. We were not used to this level of proactive communication, and it was just wonderful. She went beyond what any realtor I had ever heard of would do, even stopping over and helping me de-clutter my garage when I flew down to quickly get it done. It's obvious she really loves her job and she sincerely cares about the people who are trying to sell their home and those trying to find a home. My opinion of Kathy as a realtor comes not just from her sale of our home. We contacted her to help us after she sold our neighbor's home in 3 days. He had it listed with another realtor prior to that for seven months. When Kathy initially walked in to take a look at our house, she met my 25-year-old college student son Jonathan who was living in the house and talked with him. He called me afterward and said, "Mom, I think she's going to be good. She's really detailed and seems really determined. I think it might be good to have a woman realtor." I do too if that woman is Kathy Bergloff.

I would not have been able to sell my property so fast if it weren't for Melba's dedication and long hours of work, professionalism and ethical services. As an investor, I have other properties to sell, and Melba will definitely represent them all. Thanks Melba!
