My husband and I recently purchased a condo at Longboat Key, Florida. Our agent was Toni Lyon and the sellers' agent was Carol Cohen. This was an impulse purchase on our part. We had never been to that area but had friends there who raved about Longboat Key. When we decided to take a quick trip there I contacted Toni (she was recommended by a friend). For several weeks before the trip, she sent me listings and gave me information about the area. She was very patient and answered numerous questions from me. We decided to visit four listings just to see what we thought of the area. Carol Cohen and Toni showed us two properties in the Sanctuary. When we saw the second one we said: “this is exactly what we want”. We came back for two more visits – Carol was very helpful and showed us the entire property as well as introducing us to several residents. Carol and Toni were very patient and answered all our questions. We came back to Kentucky and two days later decided to make an offer. Toni and Carol were very helpful in taking care of all the details by phone, text, and email. Our closing was on April 2. Carol and Toni have continued to be helpful well after the closing. Carol continues to introduce us to our new neighbors and to make sure we have information about the condo. Toni has taken us to dinner as well as giving us a very generous gift for our new part-time home. I now consider them both new friends. I would certainly recommend them to anyone buying or selling in this area. They made what could have been a long distance ordeal into an easy experience.

I have been buying and selling properties for forty years here in Erie thus I have had experience with numerous realtors. Diana belongs at the top of the list. I am not an easy client but I never got any resistance to my numerous questions and requests, and there were many, over the year that it took to find our property. As we did not live in the area often she would go out and inspect prospective properties with endless pictures showing every possible issue. Most importantly she never tried to push a property just to make a sale and get rid of us.

I do want to report that we really enjoyed working with Tammy Kitt in our real estate transaction this spring. She was very personable, helpful, and flexible with her time. We appreciated her patience and enjoyed her sense of humor.

Just wanted to give a big shout out to MISTY RAINES who represented my wife and I in both purchasing and selling real estate property. Misty is very knowledgable in not only the processes of all the dealings in real estate but also has years of local knowledge and history of the newer developments as well as the older ones like the popular Rotonda West residential area. Misty will walk you through the pros and cons of each area and give recommendations based on your budget and the amenities you are looking for. One of the things we were very impressed with was that she made sure we felt comfortable with any big decisions and pointed us in the right direction of we needed any answers regarding legal issues or just wanted estimates for work that might need to be done to a property prior to selling. We live in Pa. and came down to buy a winter home in Sarasota. We worked with Janis Collier and that was an excellent choice.
