Melissa was an absolute pleasure to work with through what I'm sure is often a stressful experience. First of all, she was very low-pressure during the hunt. She worked around my busy schedule, and was always happy to drive down and show me a house I thought I might like on short notice, even though she lived 40 miles away. She was genuinely dedicated to helping me find the right house, but never showed even a hint of impatience during the process of finding it. Once I found the right home, she was always on top of everything, and I always felt like I was in good hands. She was always available when I had questions, and was possessed of a seemingly infinite supply of patience with my (seemingly infinite) supply of questions. She is extremely knowledgeable about the market, and ALL of the steps involved in the home buying process. In Florida, a realtor is almost as important as having a doctor who is professional and trustworthy. I am so glad that Stacy Liljeberg is our realtor. She has led us through five transactions. MSC took good care of us – Sue Parr in particular was exemplary in terms of research, show and tell (tours of similar properties to assess market value), common sense regarding pricing, expenses, fees, and “carrying costs”, and in terms of fastidious attention to details that, although minor (e.g. temporary AC failure) could prove significant or even a deal breaker. From our very first contact with her all the way through the closing on the purchase of our condo on Siesta Key this month, Susan has been the epitome of the kind of congenial, knowledgeable real estate agent everyone hopes they can find. As we’d never purchased property in Florida, we had many questions about the process. Susan had clear, in-depth answers to every one of them. And she often went beyond our concerns, suggesting that we think about certain issues that hadn’t occurred to us. Susan always made time for us in her schedule and responded quickly. Whether it was taking us to view a listing, answering an email, taking a phone call, or visiting the property when we couldn’t, we could always count on Susan to be there for us. We’ve dealt with a number of real estate agents over time, but we have never worked with one as conscientious as Susan. We applaud her fine work and will not hesitate to recommend her to others.
