My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend Monica for home buying! We were entirely new to the area and relied upon wholly her to show us our home and community options. On our initial visit to town we had two very opposite home types in mind. Monica was willing and happy to show us tens of homes of both types-- literally from sunup to sundown. She was organized and efficient in her home viewings-- complete with filled schedules planned out by the hour and corresponding binders for taking notes. Monica was happy and willing to show us homes we picked out, and also ones for which she had researched. She helped us narrow our search by giving us specific info on neighborhoods, schools, age demographics, distance to our work, even proximity to local shopping and eating. By simply being patient and giving us option upon option-- and discussing pros and cons of each-- she was able to help us figure out exactly for what type of home we were looking. She made the actual home purchasing process smooth and efficient, and as headache-free as we believe possible. She did all communication and negotiations with the seller while keeping us closely informed, was calm and authoritative in re-negotiations, helped us price and pick insurances, and was even fundamental in pushing to get our loan through in a timely manner! During the whole process she offered practical advice that clearly came from experience in the field and from experience living locally. After the home sale, Monica remained pivotal in helping us get settled and moved in to our home. When our cross-country move was delayed, she checked on the home for us to be sure it remained in good order. Upon our arrival, she stayed fully available (and still does so) to answer Sarasota home ownership questions. She has provided recommendations for TV and phone services, banks, home painters, handymen, pool builders, garden stores, where to shop for furniture... even a dog obedience school. We feel extremely fortunate to have found a realtor, an ally in the home-buying business, and someone with such a knowledge of the area and breadth of personal contacts. Janet went above and beyond the call of duty to help my husband and myself determine the best possible living situation in a State that offers a myriad of choices. She asked pertinent questions that focused on issues that would be important to buying a home in the State of Florida. In addition, Janet was very informative about the areas we were looking in and if she didn't have an immediate answer to a question, she provided the information in a timely manner.

Rebecca was our agent for the purchase of our home in Lakewood Ranch.
