It is with great pleasure that we are sending you our feedback on the recent purchase of our home at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice. Our agent was Troy Haynes. He was very knowledgeable and extremely informative throughout the entire process. We began our search in February 2020. As you might imagine once the pandemic struck in March, most things were put on hold. Troy and I continued correspondence on homes through April. He was always responsive to my questions, very honest and respectful. During the closing process, he demonstrated detailed knowledge of the entire process and made my wife and I feel at ease. We chose Michael Saunders & Company purely on reputation and reviews. We made contact with Thomas Arthur and he immediately went to work for us after gathering information on the type of property we were interested in purchasing. We ended up changing our criteria several times, however Thomas stuck with us every step of the way. Gran Paradiso was the second property he showed us and we decided quickly on the home we wanted. Thomas recommended we go to lunch and discuss the property. We were looking at the lot where the home would be built. Thomas helped us answer questions on location, features of the home, taxes, HOA, etc. We knew a decision needed to be made quickly as it was the last water view lot available for our size home. We decided to move forward and returned to the Lennar office to discuss price and potential upgrades. Thomas made sure we were getting the best deal possible. We settled on the total purchase price with upgrades and made a deposit. Although the building of our home was delayed a couple of months, we stayed in contact with Thomas for continued updates. Thomas was with us for our walkthrough, post discussion and closing. The rest is history in our new home at Gran Paradiso. We could not be more pleased with having Thomas by our side for this major transaction and relocation to a new state. His experience as a Florida resident himself was invaluable. We gained a realtor and someone we refer to as a friend.

Our shopping for a Florida home has been ongoing for several years, however we first contacted Audrey in January of this year. After numerous emails, texts and phone calls we finally met face to face. Audrey was instrumental in helping us locate a hotel that was fairly central to the areas we were focusing our house search. She provided a map and suggestions for dining as we had not spent any considerable time in this part of Florida. True to her word, Audrey arranged her schedule to accommodate our limited time. She was organized and provided most of the details for the communities we were considering. Information she did not know she found for us in a timely manner. The whirlwind house shopping was fun, exciting, and exhausting. We would do it all over again with Audrey. She is easy going, tolerant of my incessant questioning, has great follow through and truly became a friend in the time we were with her. She continues to show concern regarding our plans to visit as we have not been able to travel to Florida since the pandemic has shut down many states. We are looking forward to traveling south soon so we can set up our household in Florida and visiting with Audrey and her associate.

When we first walked in Philip’s office almost two years ago, we knew he was the one who was going to find us a perfect retirement home. His positive attitude and sense of humor made the whole process an enjoyable experience for us. He provided us with an overview of the many neighborhoods in Sarasota, highlighting those neighborhoods which were suited to our needs and preferences. During the process, he remained actively in contact with us, sending us listings and information about each potential home. When we asked him for information regarding a specific listing, in a matter of minutes we had the information in our hands. In the end, he found the perfect home for our family. He is a great realtor and we will continue to refer our family and friends to Philip because of his knowledge of the Sarasota area, his thoughtfulness in understanding individual preferences, his patience in finding a perfect home, his flexibility in always being available, and his diligence in ensuring everything was in order prior to the closing. Philip is definitely the best of the best!

Shelly in our mind deserves more than five stars. We have never worked with a real estate agent that went above and beyond like Shelly did. Having bought and sold ten properties in our life we feel well qualified to make that claim. In this crazy COVID world we are living in now we purchased our condo in Plantation Golf and CC unseen. Shelly was wonderful in easing our concerns with a walk through video of the property going over every nook and cranny answering every question we had. When we made our offer and it was accepted ( which also got a little complicated) the inspection was scheduled and Shelly was there also for that along with the inspector answering all our questions. We then came to Florida from Texas for our walk through and closing. At this time Shelly was going through a very tough illness and was not able to be with us. She arranged another agent who was great also to get us through the process. Even though being very sick she stayed in touch with us right through the closing. We stayed at our property for three weeks and were so pleased that Shelly was able to come visit us, bringing beautiful gifts and stayed with us for a couple of hours. What a wonderful conversation it was as we both got to talk about our life paths. If we know of anyone seeking property in that area of a Florida we will highly recommend Shelly. She was the best agent we have ever dealt with, a true professional.

When we 1st met with Barbara she came in with a sparkling personality that made us feel like we had known her our whole lives. Respectful to all members of our family that she came in contact with. She provided a thorough explanation of what should be expected from start to finish. Her attentiveness to every detail ensured that a smooth transaction would take place. Emails, phone calls, and text were promptly returned with a well-educated answer to our questions and concerns. We always felt that she was there to ensure that the best results were attained vs just selling our home.
