Heather was an invaluable resource in helping us locate our new home. We were coming from out of state and were under a time constraint to find a suitable place. She helped us to narrow down our selection through her exhaustive research about existing subdivisions and new construction. She is truly knowledgeable about the area, its amenities and services. I just can't say enough good things about June. I knew, upon our first meeting, that she was a very understanding & compassionate person. As I had requested, she was always present, when my property was shown. She was very patient with me, as this decision to sell was a very emotional one for me. She took care of everything. She always kept me up to date on what was going on. As I vassilated on certain issues, she hung in there with me, always patient, always calm. She saw the sale all the way through to closing. I could not have had a better realtor. She was the perfect person for me to do business with considering how difficult it was for me to decide to sell. Heather is a consumate professional but also a real human being who is receptive to your needs as a buyer. In addition to being game for a whirlwind home search during my couple of days in town to look, she continued to be a resource to us throughout the buying process. While this had not been my first purchase, it was my first resale purchase in Florida and she took the time to carefully explain the nuances of the Florida contract ahead of going into that process so that I was prepared for what could transpire. Even afterwards, she provided recommendations on various trades for minor work we wanted to do on the home. Oh, and I was 5+ months pregnant when we started the process so her willingness to spend the time to ensure we got a home before the baby came was greatly appreciated! (We closed 2 months before she arrived!)

We were out of state buyers from Texas moving our family to an uncharted area. Heather was suggested from a mutual friend and we are grateful for meeting her and helping guide us through the process. She listened to our wants and needs and pointed us the direction we needed to look. She bent over backwards to accommodate our travel schedules and set up appointments on short notice. Without her knowledge of the area and passion for her job, we would have been lost. She put our family first and we were able to purchase and close on our home in the short window of time we needed. It’s hard to imagine a better real estate agent than Bernadette Caswell – and to be honest, I’m not someone who compliments easily. For the last 4 or 5 years, we would reach out to Bernadette when visiting Sarasota and ask her to show us available homes on the market. As luck would have it, when we finally put an offer in and were in negotiations with the sellers, Bernadette was taking a few well deserved days off. But airplanes and airport chaos did not stand in her way. She called in between her connection and continued working the entire time. Where she shined, even more, was from contract execution to closing. Her attention to detail to make sure everything was taken care of was just truly remarkable. Her calm but firm demeanor kept all the parties in line while making sure every detail was taken care of. To be honest, we didn’t realize how much a real estate agent stayed involved during that process. And I’d be willing to bet that agents do continue to play a role, but not to the precision of Bernadette. No question was too challenging for her, and if there were an occasional answer she didn’t know, she got us answers within hours, or probably within minutes. Her integrity and honesty are second to none, and we trusted her, and still do. We love our house in Lakewood Ranch and we attribute that all to Bernadette. Although we are still new to the community, I can assure you we will recommend her to every person we meet so if they’re in the market, or know someone that is, they strongly consider Bernadette. In our opinion, Bernadette is perfection.
