While I can definitely say that moving, especially from one state to another, is extremely stressful, I can also add that my real estate agent, Mr. David Anthony, made everything so much easier than it would have been! Going back in time, many years ago, my parents would “haul” all six of us kids to Sarasota every year in July, and we so looked forward to seeing that old bridge leading out to Lido Beach! Well, times have surely changed and Sarasota has surely “grown-up” along with it. While I still enjoy taking a Marina Jack cruise and seeing beautiful Siesta Key Beach, I guess I am still stuck in the past, when everything seemed so much more peaceful and much less crowded. Therefore, when my sister, brother, and I came to Sarasota about 6 years ago to visit my sister, we decided to look for something that resembled the Sarasota that we knew and loved when we were young. On our way to Punta Gorda to visit my friends, I mentioned that we should stop off at the town named on the sign – Venice and you might say, that’s where we fell in love! The town of Venice is so pretty, and we started renting a lovely home at The Plantation, on Carnoustie. It became almost impossible to be able to rent, unless “signing up” a year in advance. So this year in January, my brother and I rented a not-so-nice small house in Nokomis…it was then that we decided to take a melancholy ride through The Plantation, which we really enjoyed, and even more so, due to the mature landscaping. On that ride through The Plantation, I spotted an Open House sign and asked my brother if he would want to “check out” the smaller villas, to see how they looked inside. Coming from a 3,000 square foot home in Pennsylvania, I was definitely ready to see the much-smaller 1,500 square foot villa, and we really liked it! Now, I get to the point...our real estate agent, David Anthony, was just wonderful. Upon first meeting David, it would be impossible to see not only what a wonderful appearance he makes, but how friendly, open, and willing to help he was. Being originally from New York, it was very pleasant to see someone who makes such a good first appearance and is non-aggressive, but still “gets the job done”. David was always willing to answer a million questions, with total patience, and I felt very much at ease with him. Even when I bugged him about the garage door opener, or virtually all of the other concerns – about anything and everything – he was just the best! I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friends or family that might want to consider Florida as their new home. Now, if David could only change the weather to about 70 degrees, he would be even better!!! In summary, David is a real class-act! You don’t see much of that anymore, unfortunately.

It has been a pleasure working with the Michael Saunders & Company team. Home purchasing involves many decisions, both emotionally and mentally. Working with both MSC MORTGAGE &and the real estate team, this was the only company to make my home buying situation work. Gris Bettle was very instrumental in helping me secure a loan very creatively. We have recently sold our property through Michael Saunders & Company and we have been asked to write a review about the services Michael Saunders & COmpany provided.Mr. Mark Boehmig was our selling agent and we can wholeheartedly say that he did a great job for us. Throughout the whole process, he has been honest and forthcoming to us about the market and really went the extra mile for us. Since we live abroad, he had to take care of a lot of things like being present during building inspections, do minor repairs, etc. He always took the time to talk to us and patiently took us through the process. He deserves a big compliment and in future transactions, we will definitely hire him as our agent.

I highly recommend Dianne Corcoran for your real estate needs! She was my agent when I purchased my house ten years ago. Dianne questioned me, listened to my wants, and found exactly the house I was looking for. Dianne also educated me about the difference between homeownership in Minnesota and Florida. She guided me each step of the way through the purchase. I have loved my house these past ten years, but I also realized it is the time in my life for me to down-size. I found a condo I loved. Once again Dianne guided me all the way from initial offering to closing. Before placing my house on the market, Dianne gave me much appreciated advice on preparing my house for sale. Her market analysis was right on. I feel we had the house priced properly to sell and it did sell quickly. Once again, Dianne guided me through the closing process on my house. Dianne has experience, knowledge, integrity and a very genuine personality. She had great people to aid with both the buying and selling. Her inspector for my new condo was thorough. The photographer that took pictures for my house sale was a pro. The closing on my house was handled through Michael Saunders. They also did a great job. When I decided to buy and sell, I considered no one else for my real estate agent. Dianne did a great job for me ten years ago and she did a great job for me this time around.

We have had three transactions with Michael Saunders & Company in the last 12 months. It has been the pleasure of a lifetime to meet a salesperson with the natural talent for sales and the "Art of the Deal" the way Stacy Haas has. For a long time, I thought I was the best salesperson I ever met. Then my wife and I met Stacy and I knew immediately that I had met my match and then some. I have never come across a salesperson like Stacy who is so very thorough, complete, polished and knowledgeable as Stacy. She understands how to work a seller as well as to negotiate with a buyer. And she completes her tasks with integrity and skill. I would like to say that Stacy is surrounded by an excellent team of people. Sierra and Gloria do complete the circle of competence that is created by this team.Be happy to have all of these folks under your banner and just watch them to continue to grow along with the opportunities that Michael Saunders& Company can provide.
