We recently purchased a property with the help of realtor Harvey Long.I would have to say Harvey went above and beyond in his duties as a realtor. We were on a tight time schedule and we looked at a couple of properties with no intention of buying at this time. We didn’t see anything that appealed.My wife mentioned that if she bought it would have to be furnished. Harvey quickly found two for sale furnished places. We looked at both and didn’t like one of them at all.We thanked Harvey and said goodbye. We discussed what we had seen and decided to look at the property that we have had some interest in again. I called Harvey who was on his way to Venice, he turned around and we met at the office. We looked again and decided to put in a bid. As I said, we were on a tight schedule. It was Monday and Harvey stated in the bid that we needed an accept or reject within 24 hours. On Tuesday we had our accept. We did the paperwork and he requested the home inspection for later in the week. On Wednesday we headed home to Penna. From that point on Harvey took over. The inspection occurred and he had everything that came up in the inspection taken care of. He gave us the name of an insurance company and home warranty company.He has dealt with every question and concern I’ve had within an hour or two of him receiving my email or phone call and I must say I have probably been a pain in the neck at times.Harvey’s easy-going manner has been good for me.Buying always causes some anxiety and doing it from a distance accelerates the issues.Harvey has been great and continues to help with the little things that have to be dealt with when purchasing a property.Harvey has our vote for “realtor of the year”.

"I met Susan by accident because the realtor we had previously worked with didn't return our calls. She happened to be the listing agent for a home we were interested in...and I have to say, it was the happiest accident that has ever happened. I've never experienced the level of professionalism, attention to detail, knowledge, or communication from any other realtor I've worked with to date. Several times in the last 10 years I've worked with realtors who made me feel like my deal wasn't a priority, didn't communicate clear dates or expectations (even when it came to sending escrow checks) and seemed to be more interested in their paycheck than anything else. Susan is the complete opposite. Regular, clear communication, great negotiating skills, put in incredible work and coordination to answer my questions (including facilitating getting estimates from pool companies, roofers, etc. for areas of repairs that were important to me). Susan prides herself in going above and beyond, and I am in full agreement. I could tell you story upon story of how Susan brought things together for the deal and made them happen. Every question I asked, every request...she addressed them all without reminders. Funny thing is, even after the deal was finished, Susan has been so helpful in recommending excellent contractors to use in the area, referred me to several companies for service agreements, and offered other several suggestions to assist in getting the house up and running. This really showed to me that it isn't about the money for her - she genuinely wants me as a buyer to be happy with the home and is willing to do whatever it takes for me as her customer. I can't say enough about her - and I would 100% recommend her to anyone interested in buying or selling. Thank you Susan!!! You rock!"

You were given a very short time frame by us to sell the home and there was a TON of competition. After a positive experience working with Ray Rausa to sell our home in RiverStrand, we decided he was the right person to help us find the perfect condo/townhome for our needs. Once we provided Ray with some of our needs and wants for our next home, he quickly worked on finding us homes within our budget and location and setup showings that met our timeframe. We looked at several different neighborhoods during our search, and Ray provided lots of guidance and expertise along the way without hesitation. We ultimately decided to stay in the RiverStrand community and purchase a 4th-floor condo with amazing views of the golf course and Manatee River! Ray was very helpful during the negotiation process; which helped get us an amazing deal on what could very easily be our forever home. Both my wife and I are so happy to have met Ray and feel very pleased with the outcomes from using him to help sell our prior home and purchase our current home. My wife and I made a decision to sell our home in RiverStrand back in March of this year, and after doing some research on NextDoor we quickly realized Michael Saunders & Company in Lakewood Ranch was the best option. I called the LWR office and Ray Rausa answered my call. He was very positive and confident during our brief conversation; which led me to set up a meeting ASAP with him to come to our home and discuss our options for selling. Ray arrived on-time and was professionally dressed and provided us with lots of information regarding recent sales in our area; which allowed us to confidently arrive at a fair listing price. We knew then we had chosen the right company and person for the task of helping us sell our home. A few open houses and a couple of dozen showings later we received an agreeable offer to sell our home. We were very pleased with how smoothly the process went and without surprise Ray kept us informed the entire time either by a phone call or text message. Also, whenever we had questions Ray was very easy to reach and he was able to provide us with the appropriate answers. Our experience with Lin Dunn was excellent! My wife and I were a little apprehensive about leaving Illinois and looking to buy a home in Siesta Key, Florida. We had visited Siesta Key only a few times. A family friend, who is also a Realtor, referred us to Lin Dunn as she did not feel she had the expertise to meet our needs. Lin is a true professional. Lin first introduced himself telephonically and spent a good hour getting to know us and what our housing needs were (single-family, townhouse, condo) and if we were looking for more of a golf course community or more of an eclectic beachy lifestyle. Rose and I did not have good answers for Lin, so Lin decided to dedicate several days educating us on Sarasota and Siesta Keys. We learned about Palmer Ranch, West of the Trail, to condos on the beach and so much more. After days with Lin, we were able to let Lin know we did not like any housing that entailed major renovation or knocking down a house, so Lin focused us on new construction housing or vacant lots. With Lin's help, we decided that golf course living was not for us and eclectic beachy was for us. Lin then narrowed down the search to empty lots (mostly quarter acre) and homes that we could buy and knockdown. With Lin's help, we were able to purchase a half-acre lot just a 10-minute walk from the Siesta Key Village!!! How great!! Lin also introduced us to four builders. After interviewing them or their representatives, Rose and I were confident that John Cannon Homes was the right builder for us. We have had several meetings with the builder and have made most of our selections. Lin continues to stay involved as we build to help us with encroachment issues, tree removal and general information and referrals to contractors that we might need. Lin Dunn represents your company in the most professional and fun way. I would highly recommend Lin Dunn and have recommended him to family members who are thinking of moving to Florida.

David Perkowski was our agent. We called him to see some listings while we were in town and he responded quickly with the 3 we wanted to see and3 more he found in Heritage Oaks. His experience at Heritage Oaks was really key for us. Since he was a rental agent there he could answer many of our questions. We found one we really liked Unit 1021 but, we didn’t act. We went back to Michigan. David gave us time but, checked in with us and let us know when the property dropped in price. He negotiated a price and terms both sides agreed to. He continued to support us through our purchase and closing. We would recommend he and Michael Saunders & Company in the future.

Jennifer is the most knowledgeable and the most professional realtor I have ever worked with. With her advice, our condo was sold for full price cash offer within 12 hours. She has always been available for advice. I would never use any other realtor in Southwest Florida.
