When my wife and I started our search for a property in Florida, I was referred to John August by a friend who had recently moved to Longboat Key. After listening to my friend I thought..."wow, could this real estate agent be THAT good"? I soon found the answer to be "Yes". First off, (and most important to me) John is one of the nicest people I have met. Second, he was an absolute professional in his methodology to determine the desires and requirements we were looking for in a property. We gave him a "wish list" which he completely met. After looking at several properties on a trip to the area, I realized how good John is when it was obvious the first property John recommended was ultimately the one for us. He then walked us through the steps to close with precision. We were attempting to close on the property while in a different state and we worried how many trips we'd need to make. (meet inspector, HOA, insurance) Thankfully, John handled every detail for us!

I was extremely excited about the professionalism of Jonnie Dwyer's team at Michael Saunders & Company.It started with the very professional video produced for the internet. My family and their friends had only top reviews.The write up about the home is the best that I have seen. It was tightly written, organized and very appealing.Of course, the number of people the viewed the house was amazing. And, to have a solid contract in a very short time. This was our second time working with Michael Saunders & Company in Lakewood Ranch. Both times we worked with Beth Ann Boyer. WOW! She is fantastic. Her counsel was invaluable as we assessed our choices. Frank Lauber assisted us in buying our home. We were new to FL from MA, and he was incredibly helpful as we navigated the process of exploring the numerous areas and communities in Sarasota. He was a wonderful guide - without ever being too opinionated, but was always sincere in providing honest feedback when we asked him questions. Our agent, Marci McFarland, was the ultimate professional from beginning to end. She was ethical and showed great integrity, was never pushy but was always prepared and ready to answer any question we might have which made for a relationship and friendship that we cherish. Marci’s recommendations and resources were all topnotch, too. I first met Marci, probably two years ago, at an open house she was holding for another Michael Saunders & Company agent. She was very impressive and although we were just thinking about eventually buying, I put her name in my phone, came home and told my husband that Marci would most likely be my choice of agents when we got serious. Open houses do work even if that house isn’t the one sold. Marci listened to our wish list and I ‘m sure at first thought we were dreaming. Well, dreams do come true and ours did. She kept encouraging us to see Beach Road and from the moment we walked in, it felt like home and now it is! We would highly recommend Marci and Michael Saunders & Company to friends and family. We want to let you know that we received excellent service from Jim Jablonski. While this was our first experience with Jim, and with Michael Saunders & Company, we have bought and sold many houses so we have many experiences to compare. Jim is skilled, knowledgeable, resourceful, diligent, consistent, hard-working, even-keeled and very responsive. He produced much activity through use of various paths, among which included open houses, strategic use of the Michael Saunders Caravan by scheduling the first slot and providing breakfast, print advertising in multiple appropriate publications, selecting an experienced real estate photographer which was extremely important since the buyers bought the property without ever seeing it in person. We can certainly rank Jim #1 among the many realtors we have worked with. He made the process much less difficult and stressful than it could have been, especially since the entire process was two months from listing to closing. We are very satisfied customers.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Francoise on the purchase of our Meadows Condo. She was a joy to work with, always professional, knowledgeable, available, and enthusiastic. Along the way, she dealt not only with us but our son Joe, who stood in for us in the early stages of our search. Francoise offered valuable insights and suggestions throughout and painlessly guided us through the Florida purchase process. Joanne Hammar was recommended as a realtor to me by a friend who bought a home from Joanne and her husband at Sarasota Natl, Venice Florida. I met with Joanne on March 16, 2019. I found Joanne to be very professional, very patient and “no pressure“. On March 16, I put a deposit on a home in Sarasota Natl with the understanding that it was subject to my husband’s approval. Joanne guided us every step of the way and actually represented us at the title company since we were snowbirds and could not be in Florida for the closing of our new homeAlthough we hired a person to check the new house, we have had some problems with the AC system and tonight I called Joanne because our house checker was out of town. Joanne and her husband went over to our house and found the temperature in the house to be 114°. She followed this up with phone calls to us, to customer care at Sarasota Natl, phone calls to conditioned air, the AC company, and multiple phone calls and texts to me. She did her best to ameliorate the problem. This was certainly above and beyond anything I would expect of a realtor. In fact, my husband and I have bought five homes over the 45 years of our marriage and although we have always been treated nicely by our realtors we have never been shown the consideration that Joanne has shown to us. Not only did Joanne go to our house tonight but she is going to follow it up with a visit to the house tomorrow to make sure that the AC is repaired.I felt that Joanne was a great realtor before tonight’s occurrence but now I feel that she is one of the most outstanding realtors I have ever met. She has made a very stressful situation much easier for me and my husband to accept.We do not only think of Joanne Hammar as our realtor but we also think of her as a friend. We are truly thankful to have met her.
