My husband and I worked with both Mary Pihl and Laura Navratel on the purchase of our Villa in Tara Preserve.We were impressed with their professionalism and they were able to secure the closing of our home in a month!We would recommend them to anyone looking in the area.When we had to back out of signing a contract for a home in Heritage Harbor, Laura stepped in and was both professional and encouraging. They made the buying and moving a little less painful, and we are grateful.

I would like to inform you of my experience with your agent Toma Milbank. I first met with his wife, Rebecca Milbank, regarding the possible selling of my home. Shortly after I met Toma. There are no words to describe Toma. I instantly felt a connection and a sense of trust that I knew I could count on him. My husband and I have a very difficult, non-traditional work schedule which made it hard for Toma to do his job. Toma worked around our schedule and made everything seemingly possible even though for most seemed impossible. There were many times in which I thought my home will not sell, but Toma always made me feel better and not lose hope. As time passed, Toma became more than just an agent. He became part of our family sharing our celebrations and disappointments. I've yelled at Toma, cried with Toma, rolled my eyes at Toma, laughed with Toma and made fun of Toma. Toma was no longer a real estate agent. He was our friend who was selling our home. They always made time for me and genuinely cared. Many early morning conversations to discuss strategy to late night conversations to discuss opportunities. The selling of my home became a major part of their lives to a point that their kids heard my name spoken way too many times. It became clear to me that they were invested. You are very lucky to have agents like Rebecca and Toma Milbank. They are honest, caring and "real". They do not do their job for a quick buck. They honestly care and will be truthful even if the end result does not benefit them. Our family is eternally grateful for everything they have done for us.

I am writing this testimonial to help others who wish to explore and possibly buy in the Sarasota, Venice, and the surrounding areas in Florida as a place to call home, buy a 2nd home, land, or piece of rental property. I have been visiting my Parents in Sarasota for 15 years. We knew it was where we wanted to be when life allowed for it. We began searching a year ago using a realtor we happened upon, no referrals because I thought I knew the area so well. I did not, Linda does. I did not consider how different realtors can be with our previous realtor after 3 trips to FL found not one possibility. Once I connected with Linda this summer I did not know all the gems that are available, not a clue. We had not idea of all the options available. That is when our venture really took a turn for the positive. I never thought about looking at reviews we hired blindly. Not a good idea. Linda turned our experience around for us, gave us the "feel" of areas widened our scope and did not waste time looking at places that wouldn't suit our needs. From Venice to Gulf Gate, Central Sarasota, Siesta Key, Lido Key, where ever she gave us an insiders guidance. Do not waste time on a realtor who doesn't provide all you deserve and should expect if you are a local or like us who had to fly from NYS to FL to house shop. Pick a great realtor the 1st time and let the process begin properly. We were not sure whether we wanted a big family home near the water or a 2nd smaller home at the time. With Linda, she knew ins/outs in both high and lower end choices. She listened to us did not push or rush us and didn't waste our time. She knows her "craft", the whole area so well, fun to be with, honest, knowledgeable and works for the buyer. This type of realtor is not so common today I am sorry to say. I encourage those of you considering any type of purchase to heed my advice. If you call Linda you will know why I am writing this. I'm paying it forward so you may begin your venture in a positive, trusting way and be well taken care of. I can speak truthfully about Linda as we were close friends 30 years ago in NYS but lost touch and then I found her again last summer. She continues to be the person I knew years ago. Honorable, hard worker, smart and meets her goals. She gets it done for her people! Nothing fake or self-serving with this Lady. So refreshing in a field that we have found not to be the norm in NYS or FL. My way of hoping to help others on their search. Thank you for reading my review; people with integrity who know their business are so valuable in today's world. You have that in Linda Lewis-Carlstrom. We have a Florida home now and I plan to keep spreading her praises.

I wish we could rate Sherri more than five stars! Stars and words alone don’t seem to be strong enough to express how deeply grateful we are to her for making every single step of finding and purchasing our dream home such a wonderful, positive experience. We have bought and sold numerous times over the years and thought we had worked with good realtors. We can intuitively say that Sherri is so much more than just another good realtor, they are pretty common...In our experience, Sherri is in that rare category of being a Great Realtor. She is extremely smart, tough when necessary, an extremely hard-working go-getter, compassionate and caring. She is very competent and can handle any tough negotiation or messy closing. She will fight a tough fight for her client. We know, we experienced it! It was so comforting to know that Sherri was on our side. Being new to buying in Florida, we were especially grateful to work with someone who was so knowledgeable and explained any answer in easy to understand terms, no small feat! We were appreciative of her quick responses to our texts or emails. She was always receptive and very prompt in her responses. We were so impressed. I know she was working with other clients yet she always had time for us. We always felt that we were the most important clients she ever had! See, those “soft skills” are really important especially when we were going through an emotional experience like buying or selling a home. She truly cares and knew that any question or thought we had was important. It was so refreshing and comforting! See, she clearly deserves more than five stars!!!
